Connections drive results.
Yes, it is that simple. Everything you do is elevated by human connection. Even your ideas are seen as more credible and trusted when you are liked by those you are sharing your ideas with. Better yet – the ideas are also more innovative because of how they are received and morphed by the input of those open to your ideas.
Writing a book (and then launching it) reminded me that every success I’ve had has been because of the relationships I have built and nurtured over the years. There were a lot of people to thank in the acknowledgements!
I am keenly aware that there are many people out there that recognize the value of relationship networking but struggle with the Connector’s approach and mindset. I get it. I know how hard it can be to shift that mindset and overcome years (and maybe even decades) of feeling like networking is a chore.
I am here to help! With the help of CatCat, I curated my favorite articles and bits of advice on building relationships, making networks work, and learning the skill of connecting. You can check them all out on the CatCat website here.
Remember: your next success, breakthrough, or brilliant idea will be amplified by the connections you’ve made. Connections drive results. Acknowledge and thank those that helped bring you to that point.
If there’s someone who would benefit from this curated list, start practicing your connector habits now and forward it to them!
