I know this comes as a shock to most of you out there, but my husband and I have never had a fight in our 20+ years of marriage. I swear – it’s the truth!
I must admit, I used to think something was missing at first. I believe in the value of conflict. For me conflict opened up communication, uncovered issues, and enabled a collaborative path forward with new understanding. Making up was also fun 😉.
This week’s success shortie comes out of a sentiment I shared about how I used to think and how I think now. I said, “I used to feel powerful when I was angry, but now I feel powerful when I smile.”
Want to know how I made the shift and managed to get all the benefits of conflict without any conflict? Watch this week’s video.
Thinking that your thinking may not be working for you? Ask yourself, what would be more productive or just plain feel better? We can retrain our brains and make your thinking work for you.
Tell me what shifts in your thinking you are planning.
As always…
