Some of you may have only been with me for the last few months, some of you for the last few years…but have you noticed that every Tuesday at 8pm, I show up in your inbox? I’ve been trying really hard to be consistent with when and how often I reach out.
Consistency is one of the four pillars of trust, along with authenticity, vulnerability, and transparency. (Click HERE to Tweet this quote!)
Trust is difficult to build, but is incredibly worth it when it comes to building relationships. You simply cannot be a great leader without it. Building a culture of trust makes a meaningful difference in your workplace. Employees in high-trust organizations tend to have more energy at work, collaborate better with their colleagues, and are overall much more productive than those working in a low-trust atmosphere.
So what can you do to create more consistency in your life? Take the time to build new habits that enhance the quality of not only your relationships with others, but also the quality of your own life.
Invest time in your business or your position at work. Live generously and give back to others around you. Strive to learn something new each day. Whatever you choose to do — focus above all on doing it consistently. Choose progress over perfection and you will find your area of focus improving with every day.
I consistently look forward to sharing with you all each and every week, and I am always thankful to know that you are there to read what I have to say! Don’t be afraid to reach out — you are welcome to reply to this (or any) email with thoughts or questions. I would love to hear from you!
Until next week,
