It has been a busy and crazy summer. Actually, all of 2018 has been busy and crazy for that matter. I mentioned last week that it has been a year of investment for me. Finishing my book, completing a certification, redoing my materials – oh my!
What are you doing this year to invest in yourself? What you choose to do will look different depending on your goals. Maybe you will take a course, read a book, or simply allow some downtime. For me, it started with a renovation of my website, speaker packet and business cards.
The payoff for me – feedback! When you invest in yourself – be sure to ask for feedback. Let people know what you are working on and bring their attention to the changes.
I would love to hear what you think of my new site and materials. If you have a minute, click around and let me know what you think (and if you find anything that’s broken).
I would love to hear what you think about my speaker packet
too, if you have the time. I still have one more website to redo. Next up for remodel is Executive Essentials! The investments in ourselves should always be in progress.
I checked something off my list this year that was 10 years in the works. I earned my CSP, certified speaking professional designation. I’ll tell you more about it next week. Until then – keep investing in yourself!
