If you’ve been with me this whole year you know that it’s been a challenging one. Probably the hardest of my life.
In this final message to you of the year, it would disingenuous to not mention the hard parts of the year. But as I’ve held to throughout all of these experiences, I remain positive, hopeful, and full of gratitude for all the good that has also occurred.
In the darkness of the year, the bright spots shine that much brighter, so it’s easy to focus on them as we move forward into 2022. My family and I had the opportunity to take several getaways, so enjoy some snapshots of these bright and happy times of this year, and from my family to yours, we wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!
50 for 50 Charity of the Week
Week 2: The Anti-Defamation League
It is hard to come up with 8 gifts for teenage boys. So every year they each donate 2 nights of gifts to the charity of their choice. The next 4 weeks will be the charities my kids selected. The Anti-Defamation League is one James has picked the last few years and it makes me so proud of him for choosing to support this amazing organization that fights antisemitism, promotes social justice, and encourages education over ignorance.
With all the polarization and hate we’ve experienced recently, this organization stands up and speaks out for those whose voices have been silenced. They continue to pursue new programs and policies toward reconciliation and equality for all, and I would love if you would join James and me in supporting the ADL.
