What a year! There have been highs and lows as there are every year.
The year started off great with my son James getting his driver’s license and my chauffer demands decreasing by 50%! In February, I was shocked to learn I had been named one of the top 30 Communications Professionals in the World by Global Gurus! So honored. March brought the end of fencing season, a 3rd place state finish, and James being elected captain for next year.
As the school year ended Noah joined the marching band and continued this fall when the team came in third in the state championship.
Summer brough a trip to Nashville to hang out with Marshall Goldsmith and the MG 100 community and a trip to Orlando for the National Speakers Influence conference where I adopted my new business collaborator, Lou Diamond. Together we are building the Connected Leader Club so we can enable more people to access the coaching and community they need to advance. More coming on that soon!
Always one for travels, my husband and I took an amazing trip to the Galapagos and made friends with a sea lion who jumped on our boat. As a family we visited Greece at the end of summer.
One of the hardest parts of the year came in the fall when we lost our first family dog, Bella. She was only 11 and a half and it was heartbreaking. You are never ready to lose someone you love.
We distracted ourselves by diving into college applications and taking a trip to see U2 at the sphere.
I am so grateful for all this year has brought and having my family to get through the hard times with. I am excited for 2024 and the launch of The Connected Leader Club. Finally, I will be able to offer people something accessible and not stretch myself too thin.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!
